Am I the only one hating those oxford pumps for fall? - 09/03/08 11:09 AM

I HATE those shoes. No grey area here.Clunky with laces. If I want laces, I will do Puma thank you very much. Can someone convice me why to even consider wearing a pair? I don't even think my 96 year old granny would consider a pair.

Favorite Faboulous Fall Must-Haves! Pick #1! - 09/03/08 11:09 AM

So, I have my stack of no less than 100 pounds of September fashion magazines. You know how the ads are...BTW, what's up with the Calvin Klein modlels head? I understand high fashion posing, but she looks like a duck out of water -- literally. Check her out. I love the extreme black styling, but that pose. OMG! check it out here:

Ok, back to my raves, not rants.

Elle and Vogue both featured lace dresses. We aren't talking Victorian, but modern, ladylike, figure-flattering lace. You can go high end with Derke Lam for 2K or check out your local Banana Republic for a decent foray into the world of lace for $150. I can't seem to find it on the web, but maybe it will be in store soon. So that's it, my number one choice for fall. Lace dress. Not your mother's lace dress.
