Several years ago I realized that shopping for lingerie had become an unrewarding necessity for me...an independent professional woman over 40, with a body that I finally accepted and the means to treat myself to nice things.
So I embarked on a four-year journey and discovered that I was not alone in my quest for a better shopping experience. I visited department stores and boutiques across the country and abroad. I reached out and spent hundreds of hours listening to women talk passionately about changes in their lives, their bodies and their attitudes toward intimate apparel.
Not surprisingly, women want lingerie that makes them feel good about themselves; comfortable, well-made, always pretty and sometimes sexy, bras and panties. Women want a well-edited selection of brands, styles and fit...and a sizing that is inclusive of most women. And lastly, women want to shop in a cool, intimate environment with spacious, cozy fitting rooms, a friendly staff and great music.
